pole banners on 3rd ave.
We will be retiring the holiday banners on the telephone poles along 3rd Ave. The current flags are showing their age after several years of use, and we will be replacing them in the near future with new ones.
We would like to give the families and individuals who purchased these banners the opportunity to have them before they are permanently removed.
Banners can be collected at the Freedom Volunteer Fire Dept. on the following dates:
- Weds. March 25th between 4-:00pm- 8:00pm
- Sat. March 28th between 12:00pm- 3:00pm
Details regarding the new banners that will be replacing the current ones will be shared in the near future, along with information on how you, your family, or local business can purchase one!

Hello Residents & supporters of Freedom Borough! My name is Johnathan Bruce and I am a Boy Scout from Troop 444. My Eagle Scout project is to fix the Ashland Park basketball court.
My current plans are to replace the court with concrete or resurface the existing platform, depending on funding. We are also planning to replace the backboards and repaint the poles.
I am seeking help with donations of funding, experience, materials, or whatever assistance you may be able to provide.
